I choose this article because I want to know about politics in another country.

Most countries in the world provide local government election for their countries but the system of each country is different. In this article is about local government election in New Zealand. Today, nominations closed for candidates who want to stand in this year's local authority elections such as Hawke's Bay Regional Council, Hastings District Council, Napier City Council, Central Hawke's Bay District Council, Wairoa District Council and Hastings District Rural Community Board. The government gives an opportunity for voters can change the information such as address. Moreover, this year, voters can visit an elections website for helping them to know more about candidates.

In my point of view, this is a good idea because the voters will have more information and easy to make decision. It uses the technology in the right way. Furthermore, it will be useful and convenient for New Zealanders.
